Yom Kippur Services 2025
We are back for our second year of proudly hosting Yom Kippur Services right here in our Bel Air Crest community. Last year’s gathering was a beautiful testament to the strength, unity, and spirit of our neighborhood — and this year, we look forward to coming together once again for prayer, reflection, and connection.
Led by Rabbi Jack Melul, our services offer an inspiring and meaningful way to observe the holiest day of the Jewish year without leaving the comfort and warmth of our own community. Whether you joined us last year or will be attending for the first time, we welcome you and your family to be part of this special tradition in Bel Air Crest.
Rabbi Jack Melul
Born in Manchester, UK, Rabbi Jack Melul has dedicated over a decade to Torah study at some of the world’s most prestigious Rabbinic Training Academies. He received Semicha (Rabbinic ordination) from Israel’s Rabbinical Supreme Court in 2012.
A dynamic speaker, Moroccan cantor, and spiritual coach, Rabbi Jack is the founding director of AishLIT – Young Professionals Los Angeles, which he leads together with his wife, Shira. Through AishLIT, he has helped spark a meaningful movement for young professionals and graduate students seeking deeper Jewish connection, home and community.
In addition to his work with AishLIT, Rabbi Jack leads the Sephardic services at SOLA Chabad, offering a rich and soulful experience that blends tradition, and heartfelt connection.
His passion for Jewish education also led him from the UK to the University of Oregon, where he founded Akiva on Campus, offering daily lectures on and off campus.
Rabbi Jack is known for making timeless wisdom relevant, inspiring, and accessible to today’s generation.
